i found a car park just around the corner, convenient. check-in was smooth, handled through the pub below! the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. my room was on the top floor, a good climb, but the room was comfortable. i loved the fresh milk and quality tea. those chocolate biscotti were amazing.

breakfast service felt quite slow. i waited a bit longer than expected for my order, a minor inconvenience.

the hotel is close to city center, which makes visiting key attractions simple. several shops and restaurants are easily accessible within a short walk from the hotel (i loved exploring them!). this accessibility really enhanced my stay.

The room got VERY warm, even though the weather was not hot outside. I think the window should open more. The safety catch prevented it and made the room uncomfortable. Breakfast was good though there was a long wait for our food.

the accommodation has class in its decor. i was greeted with a welcome drink at the pig and fiddle pub. breakfast was included and very good. the in-room coffee facilities included plunger coffee, regular, decaf, herbal tea options and the bathroom was a great size.

the room was a little too warm in november. i didn't sleep well as opening the window wasn't an option. the noise of nightlife and traffic was consistent until 4am or 5am!

the breakfast offered a great choice of dishes. really friendly staff helped us. location is close to all the shops. our large double room was spacious and clean.

The shower temperature could not be adjusted. It was constantly lukewarm. i had to run the cold tap for several minutes until it ran cold. to start with it was boiling hot and resulted in me scalding myself
